COMFORT ZONE
I am ever so thankful to have a staff of "IT GUYS" at my home base office. I have been out in the field for over two years, and we all know how fast technology changes. Whenever the "HELP DESK" at my current assignment cannot assist me with a question or a problem, I know I can always count on the staff at Midwest Imaging. They have come to my rescue on many occasions and make me "shine" in my client's eyes. I am forever grateful that they continually keep up with the ever evolving technology advances. Thanks "IT GUYS"!!

ACROSS THE GLOBE
Imagine being able to share documents with co-counsel in various states, to say nothing of across country lines. This innovative cost-saving alternative is something that Midwest can assist with thanks to Citrix. In November of 2005, Midwest began by creating a database, scanning and subsequently coding documents related to an environmental case for a Madison law firm. In early 2006, the database was launched on the Midwest Citrix server and the 400.000 page database is currently being utilized by attorneys in Boston, Madison, Washington D.C and England. The case is on-going, but by having Midwest host the database, we are able to mange the maintenance and provide IT support for the client. Updates are launched immediately, and Midwest is the focal point of data that is being tracked.
When representing corporate clients, often times there are many law firms involved. It is a huge cost savings to look towards a way of inventing the wheel once, to the benefit of multiple parties in multiple geographic sites. Midwest works closely with the client on levels of security and access by users. Midwest currently has three terabytes of space on its system.
Next time your firm is faced with a corporate client who utilizes several law firms, consider contacting Midwest for additional information on how Citrix can be a huge asset to your firm and also your clients.

Evaluations and multi-level approvals can make it nearly impossible to respond quickly to the demands of technology. When you need assistance to put out a fire – that is blazing right in front of you, Midwest is a resource many clients have utilized.

MIDWEST HAS A RECORD 2006!
Midwest Paralegal Services, Inc. and it’s division, Midwest Imaging, had a record year in 2006. The focus of much of the business expansion was in the area of electronic discovery and imaging services. As the cases continue to get larger, the need for mechanical management increases. The paralegals on Midwest’s staff are adept at handling these cases and providing time-saving suggestions to clients as their cases evolve. Thanks to all our wonderful clients that made 2006 such a success.
Successful Job Completion
Carla Toney just successfully completed a four month assignment at Old World Industries, Inc. As a perfect illustration of the type of uses, Midwest serves, OWI, Inc. needed coverage in their Intellectual Property and Corporate departments, while they searched for a full-time hire. Carla was able to work a few days a week, as requested to keep the departments running smoothly during the process of the new hire. “Midwest filled exactly the need we had”, said Dan Leep, General Counsel of Old World Industries. “We had no commitment to them past our immediate need, and we knew the personnel supplied would be well-equipped to do the job. It was a very positive experience!”
